Suspend Gas Tax

Alabama families are being squeezed at the pump.
Today, the average price of regular gasoline in Alabama is high and climbing. These costs raise the price of everything – from commuting to work and taking children to school to groceries, farm supplies, and deliveries.
That is why Angelo "Doc" Mancuso, candidate for Alabama State House District 7, will work to pause Alabama's gasoline tax until fuel prices come back down. Working families should not have to choose between filling up their tank and paying the bills. It is time for practical relief that puts money back in the pockets of the people who keep our community moving.

No Tax on Groceries

Alabama families should not be taxed for putting food on the table. It would help working parents, seniors on fixed incomes, and families living paycheck to paycheck keep more of what they earn for medicine, utilities, school supplies, and other essential needs.

Bring Space Academy to Courtland

North Alabama has a historic opportunity with the U.S. Space Force headquarters coming to Redstone Arsenal. We should build more than a headquarters – we should build a complete aerospace and workforce-training ecosystem.
I am asking Governor Kay Ivey, Congressman Dale Strong, and Senator Tommy Tuberville to consider Lawrence County, especially Courtland, as a potential home for a future Space Academy.
Lawrence County offers available land, Highway 20 access, proximity to Redstone Arsenal, a local airport, and room to grow. Our hardworking workforce is ready to support careers in aerospace, defense, technical trades, engineering, and logistics.
Lawrence County is ready to help build Alabama's future in space.
